Sonal Sehgal is a television actress She was born in Surat. She was educated at Spring Dales School. During that time, Sonal was actively involved in theater, but never thought of herself as an actress. So, she majored from Delhi University with English Honors.
She worked for an advertising agency, McCann as a copywriter where she worked on campaigns for Nestle, Nike etc. She went on to learn filmmaking and also assisted director Pradeep Sarkar. She has done more than 20 commercials like Nestle' Bar One, Aaj Tak, Dabur Hajmola. She has also worked in many music videos with some big names like Euphoria, Pankaj Udhas, Jazzy B, Bally Sagoo and Harbhajan Mann.
